Outdoor Machinery Noise
The Noise Emission in the Environment by Equipment for use Outdoors Regulations 2001 covers the sound power measurements of a number of items of portable outdoor machinery in the UK.
In addition, there are other more specific noise measurement standards for certain types of equipment, such as ISO 13487:2019 for Heat Exchangers, or ISO 5395-1:2013 for Garden Equipment.
Many of these regulations refer to the ISO 3744:1995, and ISO 3746:1995 standards for sound pressure and sound power measurements, both of which can be performed by AVA Consulting within our semi-anechoic chambers, without background noise correction.
